When comparing electric bikes, it is easy to focus on motor power or battery voltage first. However, these numbers only tell part of the story. For everyday riders, distributors, and fleet operators, factors such as acceleration, braking, stability, battery options, running costs, and road conditions are also important.

The SY-FX Electric Bike from SYEV is designed as a higher-power electric bike for urban and short-distance transportation. It features a 1500W motor, 72V battery system, 35A controller, 45 km/h maximum speed, disc brakes, and 90/90-12 tires.

Is a 1500W Electric Bike Suitable for Your Application?

Motor power is one of the first specifications buyers usually check. A 1500W electric bike provides a higher power level than many entry-level commuter models and can be useful in situations where additional power is needed.

For example, riders may benefit from higher output when dealing with:

Inclined roads
Frequent starting and stopping
Heavier rider or cargo loads
Longer urban routes
Changing road conditions

At the same time, motor wattage should not be considered by itself. Vehicle weight, rider load, controller configuration, battery condition, terrain, and riding style can all affect actual acceleration and energy consumption.

Therefore, buyers should look at the complete power system instead of choosing a vehicle simply because it has a larger motor.

Understanding the 72V Battery System

The SY-FX uses a 72V battery system and can be configured with either lithium or lead-acid batteries.

The choice between these battery types can affect several aspects of ownership. Battery weight, charging characteristics, maintenance, replacement costs, and local availability should all be considered.

Lithium batteries can be attractive when lower weight and efficient vehicle packaging are important. Lead-acid batteries may be more suitable in markets where initial purchase cost and established replacement channels are major considerations.

For distributors and fleet buyers, the best battery option will often depend on the local market and how the vehicle is expected to be used.

The Controller Also Affects Riding Performance

The battery supplies electrical energy and the motor converts that energy into mechanical power, but the controller manages how electrical power is delivered to the motor.

The SY-FX is equipped with a 35A controller. This controller forms an important part of the vehicle's powertrain and influences power delivery and acceleration response.

This is why motor, battery, and controller specifications should be evaluated together. A well-matched system is generally more meaningful than comparing individual numbers between different electric bike models.

Braking and Tires Are Important for Daily Use

A higher-power electric bike needs more than a capable motor. The rider also needs reliable control when accelerating, slowing down, and navigating different road surfaces.

The SY-FX uses disc brakes, which are an important part of its braking system for everyday riding. Braking performance can become particularly important in busy urban traffic, on slopes, or when sudden deceleration is required.

The bike is also equipped with 90/90-12 tires. Tire dimensions can influence road contact, handling, stability, and overall riding characteristics.

For buyers looking for an electric bike for regular transportation, these details should be considered alongside motor and battery specifications.

Maximum Speed Is Only One Part of Vehicle Performance

The SY-FX has a 45 km/h maximum speed. This provides buyers with a clear reference when comparing higher-power electric bikes.

However, maximum speed should not be the only performance criterion. How the bike accelerates, handles different road conditions, brakes, and manages battery power can be equally important during everyday operation.

Buyers should also confirm whether the vehicle's speed and configuration comply with the regulations of their target market before purchasing or importing.

What Should B2B Buyers Check?

For distributors and fleet operators, purchasing decisions involve more than the specifications shown on a product page.

Before selecting an electric bike, buyers should consider:

Intended riding environment
Local speed and vehicle regulations
Motor and controller configuration
Battery type and capacity
Local charging conditions
Brake and tire specifications
Expected rider or cargo load
Spare-parts availability
Warranty and after-sales support
Certification and import requirements

These factors can help buyers determine whether a particular model is appropriate for their market and customers.

Why Supplier Selection Matters

For individual riders, product specifications may be the main concern. For distributors and fleet customers, the supplier behind the product is equally important.

A reliable electric bike supplier should be able to provide consistent manufacturing quality, technical support, spare parts, and appropriate assistance for international customers.

SYEV's electric mobility solutions cover different types of electric two-wheelers and related transportation products. For B2B customers, factors such as OEM/ODM support, quality management, logistics coordination, certification assistance, and after-sales service can all influence the long-term value of a supplier relationship.

A Practical Choice for Urban Transportation

The SY-FX combines a 1500W motor, 72V battery system, 35A controller, 45 km/h maximum speed, disc brakes, and 90/90-12 tires in one electric bike platform.

This configuration gives it a higher-power positioning compared with basic low-output commuter models, while its overall specifications are aimed at practical urban and short-distance transportation.

For distributors and fleet buyers, the key is to match these specifications with the actual requirements of the target market rather than focusing on a single feature.

Conclusion

Choosing an electric bike requires looking at the entire vehicle. Motor output, battery voltage, controller capacity, braking system, tire size, maximum speed, and intended operating environment all work together to determine how the bike performs in daily use.

The SY-FX Electric Bike offers a 1500W power system, 72V battery options, a 35A controller, 45 km/h maximum speed, disc brakes, and 90/90-12 tires, making it an option worth considering for higher-power urban transportation.

For buyers, the most practical approach is to compare the complete configuration, local regulations, maintenance requirements, and supplier support before making a final decision.
