AFFF Foam Concentrate In Jeddah – Reliable Fire Protection For Industrial Applications

www.rakmefire.com

Aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) concentrate is a firefighting agent suitable for appropriate flammable-liquid fire hazards, including those involving hydrocarbon fuels. When mixed with water at the specified concentration and discharged through appropriate firefighting equipment, it forms a foam blanket over the fuel surface, helping suppress flammable vapours and control the fire.

Rakme Fire supplies BLITZ AFFF foam concentrate for fire protection requirements in Jeddah and across Saudi Arabia, supporting industrial facilities, fuel storage areas, and other appropriate high-risk environments.

What Is AFFF Foam Concentrate?

AFFF foam concentrate is mixed with water at a specified proportion to produce firefighting foam suitable for covering appropriate burning liquid surfaces. The foam helps to separate the fuel from oxygen and suppresses flammable vapours. The product’s cooling effect can also help to reduce the risk of re-ignition.

The product concentration, compatibility, and application should be confirmed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and the site’s fire protection requirements.

Key Features Of AFFF Foam Concentrate

Foam blanket formation: Helps to cover appropriate fuel surfaces and suppress flammable vapours.

Flammable-liquid fire protection: Designed for appropriate Class B fire risks involving hydrocarbon fuels.

Cooling effect: Helps to control the fire and can reduce the risk of re-ignition.

System compatibility: Suitable for use with appropriate foam proportioners, monitors, branch pipes, and other approved firefighting equipment.

Industrial applications: Can be considered in facilities that require dedicated foam-based fire protection.

Applications Of AFFF Foam Concentrate In Jeddah

AFFF foam concentrate may be used in appropriately designed fire protection systems for:

Oil and gas facilities

Petroleum refineries and tank terminals

Fuel storage depots

Chemical and process industries

suitable for every flammable liquid or every type of fire.

Selecting The Right AFFF Foam Concentrate

Before choosing an AFFF foam concentrate, consider:

The type of fuel and fire hazard

The required foam concentration, e.g., 3%, where specified
