The architecture of Bada Bagh is one of its most attractive features. The cenotaphs are primarily constructed from the golden-yellow sandstone that is characteristic of Jaisalmer. This material gives the structures a warm appearance that blends beautifully with the surrounding desert.

The chhatris feature domed roofs, carved pillars, decorative brackets, raised platforms, and intricate stonework. Many of the monuments contain floral patterns and geometric designs that demonstrate the craftsmanship of traditional Rajasthani artisans.

Although the cenotaphs share similar architectural elements, each structure has distinctive details. Visitors who take time to observe the carvings closely can appreciate the precision involved in shaping and decorating sandstone.
