There is a reason people keep talking about fried chicken. It is crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and it feels like comfort in every bite. At Caylos, we take that feeling seriously. We are a newer name in Norwegian fast food, but we have one clear goal: to serve chicken that makes you come back for more.

If you love American food and want it done properly, this post will show you what makes our kitchen different and why so many guests call us their pick for the best fried chicken around.

Why Fried Chicken Never Goes Out of Style

Fried chicken has a long history as a true classic of American food. It started as simple home cooking and grew into a favourite shared at family tables, game nights and celebrations. The idea is easy: good chicken, a seasoned coating and hot oil. The result is anything but ordinary.

What makes it special is the contrast. The first bite gives you that satisfying crunch. Then you reach tender, flavourful meat that stays moist all the way through. When it is made well, you do not need anything fancy to enjoy it.

That is exactly the standard we hold ourselves to. We do not chase trends. We focus on getting the basics right, every single time.

What Makes Caylos Different

Plenty of places serve chicken, but not everyone cares about the details. At Caylos, we start with quality chicken and fresh ingredients. We prepare each order with care, because we believe food tastes better when someone has genuinely put effort into it.

Our menu is built around the dishes chicken lovers crave most. You will find crispy deep-fried chicken, juicy chicken burgers and our broasted chicken, which many guests say is the highlight of their visit. Each one has its own character, and together they give you plenty of ways to enjoy a proper chicken meal.

We are also proud of how we cook. Our team follows a consistent process so the chicken you get today tastes just as good as the chicken you had last time. Consistency is what turns a one-time visit into a habit.

The Magic of Broasted Chicken

Broasted chicken deserves its own spotlight. It is cooked using pressure and hot oil together, which locks in moisture while still creating a golden, crisp coating. The result is chicken that is incredibly tender inside, with a lighter crunch outside.

If you are used to traditional fried chicken, broasting is a delicious change. The meat stays juicy, the flavour goes all the way through, and the texture is hard to forget. Many first-time guests tell us they did not expect chicken to taste this good.

It is a great choice when you want something satisfying but not too heavy. Pair it with your favourite sides and you have a complete meal that feels both hearty and fresh.

Chicken Burgers Worth Craving

Sometimes you want your chicken between two soft buns. Our chicken burgers are made for exactly that mood. We layer crispy chicken with fresh toppings and sauces so every bite is balanced, flavourful and messy in the best possible way.

A good chicken burger is more than a quick lunch. It is a small moment of joy in the middle of a busy day. Whether you are grabbing a bite after work or sharing a meal with friends, our burgers are built to deliver.

This is also where American food shines. Big flavours, generous portions and a relaxed, friendly attitude have always been part of the style, and we bring all of that to your plate.

Made With Care, Served With a Smile

Great food is only half the story. How you feel when you eat it matters too. At Caylos, we want every guest to feel welcome, whether you are visiting one of our restaurants in Drammen or Tønsberg, or enjoying a meal at home through delivery.

Our team is passionate about what we do, and we hope that comes through in every order. We keep our menu focused so we can do each dish well rather than doing everything halfway. That focus is what lets us keep earning a spot on your list of favourite places for the best fried chicken.

Easy Ordering, Right to Your Door

Not every day allows time to sit down at a restaurant, and that is perfectly fine. You can choose your favourites from our menu, place your order online and let us handle the rest. Your meal arrives hot and ready to enjoy, so you can relax on the sofa and dig in.

Delivery is ideal for family dinners, movie nights or those days when you simply do not feel like cooking. It is the same quality and the same flavour, just with a lot more comfort.
