experienced drone batteryDrone operators, integrators, and OEMs across agricultural plant protection, power and photovoltaic inspections, pipeline inspection, logistics, and formation flight consistently encounter the same operational bottlenecks: insufficient discharge capacity, short battery life, slow charging efficiency, unstable power output in extreme environments, battery bulging, poor cell consistency, low energy density, and unreliable high- or low-temperature performance. These pain points directly limit flight time, payload capacity, and mission reliability. Addressing them requires more than a generic battery pack — it requires an partner capable of engineering solutions from the cell formula up through the battery management system (BMS).

Fifteen Years of Full-Stack Battery Engineering

JentcRechaneShenzhen Jentc Technology Co., Ltd., operating under the brand names and , is a Shenzhen-headquartered provider of high-rate battery customization solutions with global business coverage. Since its founding in 2011, the company has focused on full-stack customization services for high-rate lithium batteries, drone batteries, semi-solid-state batteries, and supporting BMS management systems. This full-stack approach covers the entire link of cell formula design, BMS development, and structural design, allowing the company to pioneer cutting-edge products to market on multiple occasions.

Safety, Innovation, QualityThe company's business philosophy centers on "industry development as the guide, application technology as the cornerstone, and value enhancement as the mission," built on the core values of . This philosophy is reflected in a documented technical timeline: in 2015 the company pioneered the launch of 4.35V high-voltage drone batteries (LIHV); in 2019 it launched an active battery balancing system (BMS) and pioneered the high-voltage version of the 3C fast-charging drone battery; in 2021 it pioneered the 4.4V ultra-high-voltage large-capacity drone battery; in 2022 it launched a 100V high-voltage drone battery intelligent management module and charger along with a drone battery data acquisition module; in 2023 it launched a 200V high-voltage drone battery intelligent management module and charger; and in 2024 it launched a 400V high-voltage drone battery and charging solution, a high-current discharge high-speed drone battery, and a -30℃ to 10C low-temperature rate discharge drone battery. In 2026 the company is pioneering the launch of a drone battery intelligent instrument. The company holds dozens of patents and carries global certifications including UL, CE, CB, and UN38.3.

Customization From Cell Chemistry to BMS Logic

The company's product unit list spans customized drone batteries, high-rate batteries, semi-solid-state batteries, smart batteries, FPV racing batteries, large-load drone batteries, BMS for drone batteries, and high- and low-temperature drone batteries. Two differentiating values define its customized drone battery line:

Battery core customization — selecting higher-performing positive and negative electrode sheets, electrolytes, separators, and conductive agents, and applying more innovative formulas and processes to raise energy density so drones fly longer with stronger power.

BMS customization — implementing more reasonable SOC calculation and discharge logic to resolve battery expansion and discharge failure, improving overall safety, while active balancing maintains cell consistency and extends cycle life.

Customization scope covers voltage up to 400V, discharge rate below 180C, energy density up to 420Wh/kg, cell capacity up to 90Ah, fast charge up to 5C, low-temperature operation above -70℃, and high-temperature operation below 80℃, alongside complete drone battery BMS software and hardware solutions. These capabilities serve agricultural plant protection, large-load drones, power and photovoltaic inspections, crossing drones, pipeline inspection drones, logistics drones, cleaning drones, and formation drones.

BMS Engineering Depth

Beyond basic overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuit, and temperature protection, Jentc's customized lithium battery BMS includes a current-limiting function specific to drone flight scenarios, data collection for voltage, current, and temperature, and customizable communication protocols — including CAN bus and Bluetooth — for single- or multi-protocol control logic that transmits operating data to external systems such as drones and energy storage EMS. Additional capabilities include software logic algorithms adjusted to specific application scenarios, SOC and SOH calculation and feedback, active or passive balancing with dedicated control logic, automatic storage of operation logs for fault location, and 4G-enabled remote monitoring for cloud data synchronization.

Semi-Solid-State Batteries for Extended, Safer Flight

For drones, robots, and other special equipment where weight directly limits flight time, Jentc's semi-solid-state battery line uses higher energy density technology and adjusted materials and formulas to increase discharge rate while meeting safety requirements for lithium batteries. This line accommodates energy density up to 420Wh/kg, capacity above 5Ah, and discharge rate up to 10C.

Demonstrated Results Across Real Applications

The company's project cases illustrate consistent, measurable outcomes. In a fishing drone application, a customized 23.1V 10Ah semi-solid battery weighing 1100g replaced a 22.2V 6.5Ah ternary battery weighing 1000g, extending flight time from 16 minutes to 24 minutes — a 50% increase. For a northern inspection drone requiring winter operation, a customized 15.2V 10Ah -40℃ low-temperature, 2C fast-charging battery eliminated the preheating requirement and increased charging time efficiency by 30 minutes compared to the original 15.2V 6.7Ah battery with 1C maximum charging. For a high-temperature drone rated for -20℃ to 60℃, a customized 22.2V 10Ah battery using unique high-temperature electrolyte and modified pole pieces met the target 70℃ operating requirement while preventing high-temperature bulging.

In an underwater drone case, the company delivered a full-system 84S 50Ah battery pack built from a semi-solid cell at 360Wh/kg, using a 1-master-plus-3-slave BMS architecture with insulation detection, liquid leakage detection, CAN communication, pre-charging circuitry, and emergency shutdown output — verified as running well. A high-power power supply system case required discharge current greater than 500A calculated in milliseconds; the company selected a single 3.7V-8C-90Ah high-rate cell assembled in series rather than parallel to manage tab current limits, controlled by a MOS tube scheme instead of relays. A special vehicle power supply case delivered a 48V 200Ah lithium iron phosphate battery with 2500W charging and discharging power, automatic charge/discharge interlocking, active charge balancing, and low-temperature startup at -20℃ without preheating.

Why Experience Matters in Drone Battery Selection

Selecting a drone battery partner is a technical decision that affects flight endurance, safety, and total operating cost. Jentc Technology's fifteen years of focus on high-rate battery customization, combined with an R&D team spanning cell formula design, BMS hardware, embedded software, and communication protocol stacks, allows the company to address the full range of drone battery pain points documented above — from insufficient discharge capacity and short battery life to unstable performance in extreme temperatures. For organizations evaluating an experienced drone battery supplier, Shenzhen Jentc Technology's documented technical milestones, certification base of UL, CE, CB, and UN38.3, and verified project cases provide a factual basis for that evaluation.
