The AP-213 isn't hard because the concepts are obscure. It's hard because most candidates walk in underprepared for how the questions are actually structured.

That gap, between knowing Salesforce and knowing how to answer AP-213 exam questions under time pressure, is exactly where first attempts fall apart. And it happens more than you'd expect.

Why Most Candidates Fail the Salesforce Accredited Agentforce Manufacturing Professional Exam on Their First Attempt

Failure isn't usually about effort. Most candidates who don't pass on their first attempt studied, they just studied the wrong things, in the wrong depth, without ever seeing what real exam questions feel like.

The Salesforce Accredited Agentforce Manufacturing Professional credential is specialized. It's not a general Salesforce admin exam, and broad platform knowledge alone won't get you to a 68% passing score. The exam expects you to apply Agentforce concepts specifically within manufacturing contexts, and that's a narrower lane than most people anticipate.

The other factor is time. 75 minutes for 55 questions appears easy enough until you encounter a multi-select question that demands you assess four different answers at once. Your pace is ruined quickly if you have not done this before.

What to Expect From AP-213 Exam Questions, Format, and Difficulty Level

The AP-213 exam is a proctored test, delivered either at an authorized testing center or through an online proctored environment. You don't get to take it casually from your home setup without monitoring.

Here's what the format looks like:

50 scored questions, multiple-choice or multiple-select
Up to 5 additional unscored questions that you won't be able to identify
75 minutes total to complete the exam
Passing score of 68%

The unscored questions are the part most candidates don't account for. You'll answer up to 55 questions on-screen, but only 50 count, and you won't know which ones. That means you can't afford to dismiss any question as low-stakes.

Difficulty-wise, multiple-select questions are the sharpest edge. They don't just test whether you know something, they test whether you know it precisely enough to rule out near-correct options.

How to Find Reliable Salesforce Accredited Agentforce Manufacturing Professional AP-213 Study Material That Actually Works

The volume of material available online doesn't mean much if the questions don't reflect how the real exam is written. Old dumps and general Salesforce study materials will not prepare you for the manufacturing-specific scenario-based questions.

What really counts is practicing on those questions which fit the pattern of the exam. Since you have not attempted a set of AP-213 practice questions that reflect multi-choice stress and test pattern, do not wait till exam day to practice such questions for the first time.

Before committing to any resource, verify these three things:

Questions reflect the current exam version
Coverage includes manufacturing-specific Agentforce scenarios
Practice tests simulate real time constraints

In case the resource fails to address all three, then it will be of no use for your preparation effort. Identifying the criteria to search a good study source will be half the job; you have to identify an appropriate one as well.

If you’re preparing for the Salesforce AP-213 certification, finding practice material that closely matches the exam topics can make your preparation more focused and effective. ITExamsTopics is built around that need, offering credential-specific resources designed to help candidates study the areas covered on the exam. You can explore the Salesforce AP-213 Exam Topics page to find practice material aligned with the certification rather than following a broad, general Salesforce study path.

The Bottom Line

Most candidates don't fail the AP-213 because they're not capable, they fail because they prepared for a different exam than the one they sat. The format is tighter, the questions more precise, and the passing threshold less forgiving than it looks on paper.

Now that you understand what’s actually being tested and where preparation usually breaks down, the smarter move is to practice with material that reflects how the exam actually behaves. If you want to focus on specific exam domains rather than reviewing everything at the same depth, ITExamsTopics provides exam topic-wise questions that let you target the areas where you need the most practice and spend your preparation time where it counts.
