Choosing a child's first school is one of the most important decisions a parent makes, and it's also one of the hardest to get objective information about. Brochures all promise "holistic development" and "nurturing environments," but what actually matters is whether a school genuinely follows through on those promises day to day. For families in Hajipur searching for a trusted nursery school in Hajipur, or simply typing best play school near me into a search bar on a Sunday evening before admissions season, Jigyaasa International Preschool has built a strong, locally recognised reputation around exactly this kind of genuine, play-based early childhood education.

Where Early Learning Actually Happens

Jigyaasa International Preschool is located at Anjanpeer, Before New Overbridge, Gandak Road, Hajipur, Vaishali, Bihar — a genuinely convenient, easily identifiable landmark location for families across Hajipur and the surrounding Vaishali district. The school's local reputation is reflected clearly in independent review platforms, where it holds a 4.8 out of 5 rating based on more than 100 customer reviews, a level of consistent, verified parent satisfaction that's genuinely meaningful for a preschool evaluating its standing in a competitive local market.

A Philosophy Built Around How Young Children Actually Learn

What distinguishes Jigyaasa's approach from a generic daycare-style setup is a deliberate educational philosophy centered on play-based learning — recognising that young children learn best through play, rather than through early, forced academic instruction. The school embraces a holistic approach to education, focusing on developing the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive abilities of each child, and explicitly commits to celebrating each child's unique personality, learning style, and pace of development, rather than pushing every child through an identical, one-size-fits-all curriculum.

This philosophy matters enormously for parents comparing options for the best play school near me, since a child's earliest educational experiences shape not just academic readiness, but their broader relationship with learning itself. A preschool that prioritises genuine exploration and curiosity over rigid, premature academic pressure tends to build children who approach learning with confidence and enthusiasm, rather than early anxiety around performance.

The Core Learning Activities Shaping Each Day

Jigyaasa structures its daily program around several interconnected areas of childhood development, each designed to nurture a different aspect of a young child's growth:

Play-Based Learning Activities. The curriculum is centered around play-based learning activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and imagination — treating play not as a break from learning, but as the genuine vehicle through which early learning happens most effectively.

Language and Literacy. The curriculum incorporates Best Play School Near Me dedicated activities to support language development and early literacy skills, laying a foundation for reading and communication confidence well before formal schooling begins.

Creative Arts and Expression. Children are given genuine opportunities to unleash their creativity and self-expression through various art forms, supporting both emotional development and fine motor skill growth.

Numbers and Logic. Numbers come alive through dedicated math and logic games, with play-based learning helping children explore counting, sorting, patterning, and basic math concepts — building a solid foundation for numeracy skills in a genuinely fun and engaging way, rather than through rote memorisation.

Outdoor Play Activities. The great outdoors offers its own distinct opportunities for learning, with outdoor play activities focused on physical health, coordination, and exploration — from obstacle courses to nature scavenger hunts — helping children learn about the world around them while developing important gross motor skills.

This genuinely well-rounded structure — spanning language, numeracy, creative expression, and physical development — reflects a curriculum built around the full picture of early childhood growth, not just one narrow academic dimension.

What Parents Are Actually Saying

Perhaps the most telling indicator of a preschool's real quality comes from the parents already sending their children there each day. Jigyaasa's own testimonials reflect consistent, specific praise rather than vague, generic endorsements. One parent, Suresh Verma, described the dedication and support from the teachers as exceeding expectations, noting that each teacher they've interacted with shows a genuine interest in their child's well-being and progress. Another parent, Virendra Prasad, specifically highlighted how their child's social skills have blossomed at the school, crediting the inclusive atmosphere and diverse activities for giving their daughter numerous opportunities to interact with peers, learn about empathy, and develop friendships.

A third parent, Kanhaiya Singh, described being amazed at how much their daughter has developed since starting at Jigyaasa, specifically pointing to the school's focus on holistic development — covering emotional, social, physical, and intellectual growth — as evident in her newfound confidence, improved motor skills, and increased curiosity about the world around her. This kind of specific, developmentally-grounded feedback from real parents offers genuinely useful insight for anyone comparing nursery school options in Hajipur.

Leadership With a Track Record in Education

Jigyaasa International Preschool was founded in 2023 by Dr. Irfan Ahmad Khan, who also serves as Managing Director of Delhi Public School Anjanpeer Hajipur — a school he founded in 2016 that has since grown to over 600 students and built a strong local reputation for academic excellence. This existing track record in running a well-regarded school in the same Hajipur community offers meaningful reassurance to parents evaluating Jigyaasa specifically, since the leadership behind the preschool has already demonstrated sustained, successful school management in the local area, rather than entering the education space without any prior track record.

Why Location and Community Trust Matter

For families specifically searching for a nursery school in Hajipur, proximity and community standing both matter enormously — a long daily commute is genuinely hard on young children, and a school's reputation within the immediate community offers a layer of trust that's difficult to replicate through marketing alone. Jigyaasa's location near the New Overbridge on Gandak Road, opposite Delhi Public School, places it in a recognisable, accessible part of Hajipur, while its consistently strong review ratings reflect genuine, sustained community trust built over time rather than a short-term marketing push.

What to Look for When Comparing Preschools
