The real reason for attraction between a male and a female and any two people is difference in their qualities.

BOTH MEN AND WOMEN HAVE MASCULINE AND FEMININE QUALITIES.

People, male, female attract each other on the basis of their qualities. People with opposite qualities attract each other so that they can learn from each other lifelong.

People think the attraction or liking for someone is physical; but it is actually based on opposing qualities.

The inborn, innate desire to become a perfect person makes male and female come together.

A perfect person according to Indian scripture is one who makes no mistakes. He has reached the state of God known as "Achyuta" (one who has no mistakes). Such one his rid of all his/her bad qualities. HE/SHE is perfectly EGOLESS.

These are qualities that are possessed by both men and women. Men possess more of Masculine qualities and less of Feminine qualities and it is vice/versa for Women.

These qualities are mostly opposite pairs.

A perfect person is also known as "Sthitaprajna" - balanced minded.

A perfect person is known to possess the qualities of both male and female. God is considered both male and female, so he is perfect.

Akkamahadevi - a lady saint from Karnataka in India said,

"When a man becomes a woman and a woman becomes a man, they are liberated."

A man can acquire all the qualities of a female and a female can acquire all the qualities of a male.

A leader has the qualities of both male and female combined in him. So he becomes perfect and capable of emotional intelligence and commanding and managing others.

In India, sages are known to be great souls who are:

"vajradapi kathorani mruduni kusumadapi,

lokottaranam chetamsi ko hi vijnatumarhati",

which means :The minds of great souls can be softer than flowers and harder than diamonds. Who can indeed fathom those great souls?

The reason for attraction between males and females is really the difference in the qualities and they unconsciously try to learn from each other which is ensured by being together. They tend to attract each other only to stay with each other long enough to learn from each other and evolve.

So, the purpose of life is to learn from each other and evolve into perfect beings. Each one of us is at different level of perfection.
